You are likely doing CRO wrong...

Hey, it's Osh from Conversion Alchemy here.

Most brands approach CRO like Frankenstein.

  • They test a popup.
  • Tweak a headline.
  • Run a random A/B test...

But it’s all disconnected — and it can hurt performance.

This is what I call “Frankenstein CRO”...

A funnel made of isolated ideas, with no system to tie it all together.

And here’s the brutal truth:

If you take the winner from one split test and the winner from another one – and publish them...

It doesn’t mean they will generate long-term uplift when launched together...

Because your funnel is an inter-connected system.

Not a pile of individual, isolated split-tests.

So, what should you do then?

Here's a better way to do CRO:

Try this today:

  1. Zoom out and look at your entire user journey as a whole, interconnected system.
  2. Map out each step.
  3. Then go through each step like a customer would.
  4. Write down a list of major bottlenecks that are causing friction or confusion.
  5. Systematically test removing these bottlenecks across your entire funnel.

Hope you got value from this!
